Bottle. Turner’s, Sheffield. Looks like Ribena spew. Ugliest looking beer ever. Smells of blackberry milkshake, so that bit is nailed on. Taste has some fruity sweetness, with a little citrus bitterness. Decent mouthfeel. The lumps seem to go down pretty easy! Fruity, zesty bitter finish. If I had this blind, I’d rate it well, but honestly, it’s appearance is really off putting, and I’m not easy bothered by that normally.

330ml bottle. Pours deep amber reddy orange with a medium white head, a ton of sediment/blackberry sludge causing one of the most disgusting looking beers I've ever seen, there's a good few centimetres of it left in the bottle too. Aroma of tropical fruits and blackberries, sweet malt. Taste of sweet berries, tropical fruits, oats, cream (lactose), slight sourness. Medium body, soft carbonation. The appearance is the worst thing about this beer, everything else is fairly good, the taste does kinda work but also feels a little muddled.

Bottle picked up from Otters Tears, Stoke on Trent. Consumed at home after a Birmingham Beer Day Walk, Saturday 9th December 2017. Had to wait for this to settle, it's a great beer but there must be half an inch of sediment in the bottom. The oats and lactose give this a marvellous smootheness,. There is is a good blackberry bite but it's held in check, like it a lot. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

2nd December 2017
Almost clear deep orange - amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Nose of ripe and slightly skunky tangerine. Smooth palate, semi dry and with decent fine carbonation. Light malts, thin creamy sweetness. Resinous ripe tangerine. Modest skunky hop and pine. Some dark berries underneath and on the back end. Modest skunky finish. Unusual but quite drinkable.
