Bottle. Rather clear deep golden color with white head. Aroma is really vanilla and caramel, really bourbony, custard, red apples, leather. Taste is minerals, leather, dry af, woody, tannic finish. Oily mouthfeel, bone dry. Dem tannins!

Bottle consumed at home, Attenkirchen, with the Ratebeer Tasting Crew. Saturday 21st September 2019. The barrel ageing softens this a little (on the nose). However it translates into the mouth as a rather uninspiring cider, the bourbon ageing does little, the fruitiness is ok, it is a flat, drab cider.

Clear golden. Aroma is apple dry peel a bit tannic. Taste is very dry with a hint of raisins and tannins. Quite sour as well. Phew. Hard one but not so pleasant.

Bottle, golden amber, no head. Caramel candy apple nose. Flavor is dry & lightly sour, doesn't deliver on the sweetness promise of the aroma. The barrel comes through with oaky notes but also some tannic astringency.

Bottle. Golden. Wood vanilla and apple, super dry, apple skin tart, tastes sweeter than it is. Lightly boozy, green apple and almond retronasal.

375ml bottle, takeout from Kilder. Pours clear gold, aroma has wild nettley herbal funk. Taste is light bodied, nettley, wild, herbal with lightly cheesy, butterscotch bourbon traces, lasting tannic grip on the finish. Thin watery, drying body. Rough, natural farmhouse cider.

Bottle shared by dirty D Bag. It pours clear rich gold with no head. The aroma is earthy, oak, apple skin, light vanilla, pear and apple pie. The taste is firmly dry, quite soft, muted, straw, grape skin, oak, tannin and straw with a drying finish. Medium body and flat. Muted and a bit wishy washy.

Bottle shared between IMBC sessions - cheers to Dani. Pours clear gold. Bone dry, musty, some earth, apple skins, grass. Medium bodied, soft. Dry finish, musty, woody, more bitter apple skins, minimal sweetness. A bit too dry, not very flavorful, fairly bitter. So so overall.

Bottle thanks to Daniel. A clear deep golden coloured pour with no head. Aroma is sweet, cider, sugary sweet, light oak. Flavour is composed of pithy apple, dry, woody apple pips. Bark, balsa wood.. Palate is super dry, woody tannin, moderate carbonation. Interesting.

Bottle at Cider Salon, 2018. Bright golden colour, no lasting head and aroma of mellow apple & caramel. Taste is tart apple, mellow, fruity, melon, and acidic with some tartless. Light bodied, medium spritzy carbonation, dry finish. Quite drinkable.
