This dark amber lager captivates with its slightly sweet, caramel flavor, and resonates with nuances of red fruits; these are counterpoised by a pleasant bitterness in the aftertaste. Together, all of these elements produce a delightfully unique flavor.

0.5 l bottle from 'Biermarket.de', best before September 2022. Clear, ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity aroma of caramel, raisins, nuts and light chocolate. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, a bit roasty and minimally fruity taste of caramel, cocoa, nuts and some raisins, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little roasty finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid Dunkel, a little bland though.

Weihenstephaner Tradition, Flasche von Ambrosetti. - Tiefdunkles Rotbraun, klar.

500ml bottle delivered from Beers of Europe and drunk at home. Light Reddish brown, very clear with a ring of off-white head. Light aroma of chocolate malt and slightly burnt brown sugar. Sweet taste, fruity with a good hit of molasses. Gentle bitterness in the finish, some redcurrant, more chocolate and dark sugars in the aftertaste. Soft to medium carbonation. A good dunkel.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Clear amber/brown with a thick beige head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of berries, orange rind and stewed tea. Flavour of brown bread, cranberry and rust. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Slightly sharper than most other Dunkels but it’s very enjoyable.
