Cask @ Moon Under Water, Manchester. Tawny-gold with a head. Malty bitter that’s light with a very drinkable character. Has some chocolaty grain in its nose.

Crosse Keys. Spoons. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and a little soft. Modest fine carbonation. Smooth malts bring a light caramelly sweetness. On top are bitter hops. Bitter floralness dominates but there a little citrus. Esters before a semi dry and harshly bitter finish. A bit aggressive but okay.

Cask at the Willow Walk, JDW - London. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. The aroma holds dry gains, hay, citrus rind. Light sweet flavor with notes of cigarette ash, chlorine, smoke, some astringency. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with more chlorophenol character, ash, smoke, some citrus, dry grains, bready sugars. A bit flawed.
