bottled Nov 18, 2014, rated in late 2016 - Hazy copper colored pour with a small head. It smells of bready malt, peaches, yeast, and booze. The flavor is very sweet. Malt. Peaches. It's still drinkable, but as a pricey, limited release beer, it should be something special. This is cloyingly sweet and underwhelming.

Bottled at Ottawa gathering. Clear golden, small head. Peachy caramel aroma. Very sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Syrupy peach and caramel. Not good.

A golden amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, oxidized biscuit malt with light peaches, light bilous notes, so-so. In mouth, sweet caramel malt with light peach, light mineral notes, grassy hops, bad. Bottle at Per’s Almost gone tasting, March 2017.

Thank you Sebletitje! 750 ml. bottle sampled @ “Tim’s Christmas Tasting”. Bottled on Nov. 18 2014. Dark amber golden, creamy white head. Nose is huge milky sugar sweetness, with yeast, sweetness is akin to yoghurt, sugar but too extreme to be pleasant in any way. Taste is same milky yeast, white sugar sweetness, excessive down to the point of undrinkable, white sugar & milky yeast to extreme, sweeter than a spoonful of white sugar can ever be, excessive sweet peach in a horrible candy fashion, no real fruit, bubblegum, honey,… Milky, sugary body. Awful just, I cannot drink this, let stand alone enjoy. Revolting sweetness in a milky yeast way to the absolute extreme & more.

Clear blond to orange beer, creamy yellowish head, unstable, pretty adhesive. Aroma: sweet, malty, bourbon notes, bit spicy. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots of bourbon, more vanilla, caramel, very sweet and sugary. Aftertaste: sugary, vanilla, sweet, malty, some caramel.

24th May 2015
Hazy amber beer, good size cream colour head. Creamy malt nose. Palate is airy and semi dry with very fine carbonation. Fluffy creamy malts, sweetish. Brandyish alcohol and a little fruit liqueur. Mild spice. Light semi dry finish. Entertaining.

Hazy golden coloured body with a copper glow and a thin, tannish head, only about a centimetre tall. Aroma of caster sugar, peaches, light malt, icing sugar and a bit of yeast - not too pungent. Medium-bodied; Strong rich peach flavour at first that fades immediately to alcohol, malt, yeast and a bit of bread - not too great. Aftertaste shows some sugars from fruit and caster sugar, but a large malt body and a not-so-pleasant peach flavour make this a bit obtuse. Overall, a decent beer at best, and a typical beer at worst - the problem is the price. This is definitely NOT worth searching out for, unless you get a steal of a price. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Total Wine in Manassas, Virginia on 28-March-2015 for US$21,99 sampled at home in Washington on 05-April-2015.
