Poured at Shelton Festival, black with small beige head. The aroma is roast and dark fruit. Medium body roasted malt, cocoa, dark fruit, oak, light brett, very good.

Bottle from the brewpub in St-Jerome. Pours a hazy dark brown colour with a frothy-creamy warm beige head, great retention and creamy lacing. Brett wild aromas with the earthiness over some fruitiness, berry-like and hints of roasted malts. Smooth mouthfeel. Does not feel like 9% ABV at all. The Brett is even more noticeable in the taste at first, but after some sourness in the middle, show a bitter finish with the burnt malt lingering. This is quite an experience.

Bouteille de 341 ml. Des arômes de bretts aux allures légèrement vinaigrées laissant émerger des notes de café et de fudge. Perception de vieux cuir et de vieille étable. Remarquable et complexe comme olfactif. Un doigt de mousse beige et crémeuse recouvre de longues minutes le liquide brun foncé aux tons rougeâtres. Les bretts dominent l'entrée de bouche en montrant son coté vineux et légèrement vinaigré. Un très léger café se laisse découvrir de même qu'un boisé de barrique. Ça me rappelle une brune des Flandres. J'aurais cependant apprécié une meilleure présence des notes de torréfaction qui aurait rajouté à la complexité. Mais bon c'est le privilège du brasseur. Produit très original et très appréciable.

341ml bottle (thx, Alex M.!). Bottled on 2016-03-10. Pours an almost black with a tan head. Aroma is barrel notes, fermented fruits and berries, bretts and some roasted malt. Taste is sour with roasted malt and bretts notes. Roasted malt and barrel notes on the background. Quite good stuff.

Bottle: Poured a black color ale with a dark white foamy head with good retention and limited lacing. Aroma of roasted malt notes with some sour notes offsetting some of the dry bitter notes. Taste is a mix of roasted malt with fry notes offset by tart notes with light funky notes also noticeable. Body is about average with good carbonation. I am usually not fond of soured stout but this is a great example with good drinkability level.
