Growler fill. Thick as a bag, bright gold. Messy, dense, sticky, lasting, white head. Looks great. Nose has grapefruit rind. Peach stone. White pepper. Some strawberry. Notes of green hop. Some sweet, ginger biscuit malts. Taste is light, gingery sweet. Turns oily, piny bitter. Stunning mouthfeel. Juicy and oily and ridiculously drinkable. Finishes light, juicy, and spicy bitter. Fantastic.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a muddled hazy burnt orange color with a thin finger’s white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Streamy to stringy lacing rode around the glass appropriately.
The aroma bleeds with a super bittersweet orange juicy pulpiness. Bittersweet grassy hoppy tones invade but extend a certain balance to the evasive malt backbone. Yes, that malt backbone is there, but exceptionally light.
The flavor leads into the balance of the orangey bittersweet juicy hops to the malts. Practically, an absolute perfect blend. Juicy orangey aftertaste charging finely into the finish.
On the palate, this one leans towards a medium bodied somewhat sessionably crisp yet bitter gripping harshness penetrating the IBU’s seemingly appropriate, still with a nice balance for the most part.
Overall, hmmmm, well, what can I say, yes, another fantastic DIPA by Hill Farmstead.

Growler. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy, white head. Rich aroma, some tangerine, honeydew, melon, orange. Medium sweet flavour with moderate piney bitterness, dry pale bread, grapefruit, citrus peel. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming and resinous to finish, with lots more rindy citrus, grapefruit, melon, tangerine. Excellent.

Poured from growler thanks Willrunforbeer hazy golden orange with a nice one finger white head. Aromas of floral notes grass dank resin citrus and bread. Taste is smooth and soft light caramel orange grapefruit lingering balanced finish.

Large, fluffy, well-retained, white head tops a lightly-to-moderately hazy, soft-brass gold body.
Expecting a big grapefruit/pine nose, I’m shocked to find, while definitely some pine and white grapefruit, A LOT of watermelon and mango. Very juicy and with only a touch of resin. There’s a touch of sourdough-like character that I’m not sure belongs to the hops or a specialty malt, but it intrudes a little bit in to the overall enjoyment of the nose, but is fairly passing as the beer warms and breathes. Really takes on quite the dank and melon-filled character over time, leaving light biscuit and honey behind it and no alcohol or flaw.
Fantastically soft, malty, tightly carbonated mouthfeel easily balances the moderate bitterness and pinch of pine/white grapefruit. Lots of pleasant, milder tangerin/orange/mango notes add loads of juiciness and there’s a good shot of acidity on the end to give balance and clear the palate somewhat. Fantastic one, as usual....

Very hazy amber beer, good off white head. Palate is smooth with good fine carbonation. Minerals. Nice mellow fruity hops - blood orange and regular orange marmalade. Lesser lemon and grapefruit. Finishes neutral with a good bitter marmalade aftertaste.

Shared a growler. Poured a slightly hazy golden color with a white head. Aroma is grapefruits, hops, sweet malts. Flavor was a nice tropical fruit hop mix with nice sweet malts. Flavor was great, bitterness is good, with a balanced finish. Surprised.
