Traditional throughout Latin America, the guayabera shirt combines style, functionality, form and tradition in its four-pocketed design. We at Cigar City Brewing feel the same reverence and appreciation for the guayabera that we do for the Citra hop varietal, an ingredient that imparts notes of tangerine, lime and berries to this traditional American Pale Ale. The exclusive use of Citra hops in this beer creates a flavor that’s at once unique and recognizable, while its dry, crisp character and moderate alcohol make it as refreshing and functional as a crisp linen guayabera.

Can from GBBF 2018 and drunk at home. Hazy gold orange colour lasting cream head. Fresh hoppy citra grapefruit aroma, but no dankness just a beautiful citrus and tropical fruit aroma. Oh boy that's too easy to drink. If this was as fresh and good as this on tap and I was sat at a bar. I wouldn't move. Intense tangerine flavour I can almost feel the fruit segment in my mouth. As good as the guitar lick on Telegraph Road, oh yes. Soft carbonation in the mouth. Light bitterness on the finish. Rich citrus fruit finish. Outrageous. My kinda APA. As good as these things get I guess.

12oz can. Unfiltered orange-tan body. Foamy head. Really good APA, bright tropical tones from the Citra, and a pleasant crackery malt backdrop. Really well done, drinks clean but with lots of character. Excellent balance. Great.

Can. Just hazy gold with a white head that lasts. Looks inviting. Aroma of lime, herbal lemon, light bread. Light bodied with a soft texture despite quite high carbonation. More orange and herbal lemon than lime in the taste, which starts with a bit of sweetness before a dry and quite bitter finish. Everything works together with this one. Good.

Pours a slightly hazy, golden yellow, with smallish head. Aroma is dank, with notes of citrus. Flavor is pine/spruce bitter, with notes of citrus. It's a pretty good beer, actually.

Hazy yellow color with white foam. Has a citrus aroma. Citrus hop bitterness at the start that finishes with a little bit of sweetness. Hop bitterness does not overpower and does not leave much aftertaste.

Pint pour at Lost Dog Cafe - North Arlington. Poured a mostly clear dark yellow color with a small, very white head. Aroma was light citrus. Some mild juicy notes. Some tasty, earthy character here. Pretty tasty.

Very hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish, but noticeable white head, about a single centimetre tall. Aroma of citrus and very noticeable, dry-hopped citra and passionfruit notes with a touch of grass and perfume that shows a little sweetness and candy towards the end. Light to perhaps Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and citrusey notes at first with a big dose of bitterness from the hops with a nice bitterness and a prolonged intensity and range from the malt coupled with the more noticeable, grassy hops. Aftertaste shows some light sweetness, a ton of citrus and grassy flavours with a light but quite bitter hop bite towards the end. Overall, a nice and enjoyable APA that shows the range of the citra hop, but also the strength and complexity of a well-balanced beer that shows some moderate sweetness, but plenty of bitterness from the hops and a proper balance throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Publix [Supermarket] in Orlando, Florida yesterday on 04-May-2018 for US$10,99/six pack, sampled in my hotel in Orlando, Florida on 05-May-2018.
