pink tinges in the body and head. Nose features dark berries, currants and a solid tart sourness. Out of the blocks, a solid cleansing sour berry front. Tart and slightly acidic. Finishes with yogurt, cherries and black currants. Simple and enjoyable.

Amber/light red pour with a small pinkish head. Aroma is tart berries, and raspberries. Mouth feel is crisp, and tart. Tartness hits the tongue, and it way up front. Finish is more tartness, but it’s subtle, and manageable. It’s not over powering, but pleasant and crisp. Dry finish, more fruity berry notes. Nothing out of this world but a crisp, tart fruit beer. Well. Done.

This ale poured a blood red colour with a creamy pink head. Looks like beet juice. Minimal lacing. Scents include Baby Duck ripple, pickled veggies and potatoes. First swig was quite thin with flavours of currant and malt, sweet and sour. Nice it’s not off the charts sour. Quite drinkable.

Bottle: Poured a light amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with limited retention. Aroma of light blackberries and tart notes is OK. Taste is a mix of light blackberries with some tart notes, lactic yogurt and no residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable but well short on level of complexity.

A dark amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light herbal hops, light Epsom salts, currants, pleasant. In mouth, a tart cherry malt with light plums, currants, light acidity, dry, OK. Bottle from LCBO, at GRMs tasting.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out tart and acidic black currants, and a touch of lacto. Flavour brings out lots of acidic black currants, medium tartness and a touch of lacto. Not well-blended, with tart stone fruits on the finish. Not very complex or coherent. It's okay.

Light purplish-brown colour, without much head. Aroma has a moderate acetic note with a light blackcurrant character. Light fruity note, moderate acetic, light body, and almost a candyish sweet note in the finish. Not much complexity - a simple sour with light fruit.

Nice hazy pink, purple and golden peach coloured body with a very thin off-white head and a bit of a cloudy glow. .Aroma of sour funk, black currants (duh), wheat, grass, hay and some more lactic funk. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong fruity flavour at first that gives way to some funk, grass, hay, coriander seed and lemony sourness and shows a little body, some smooth hay and grass flavours and ending with a lot of black currant fruit flavours. Aftertaste is light, grassy, herbal and very fruity with the apples, black currants, lemons and raspberries all showing through. Overall, a decent beer that isn’t quite sure what it wants to be - this is like a berliner weiss mixed with a light sour/wild ale mixed with a belgian white - interesting, and not bad, but not amazing. I’m definitely happy that I sampled this and even happier I didn’t try to pack it in a suitcase, yet drank it immediately at my hotel here in Toronto instead of flying with it to Hawaii! I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from the LCBO at Spadina at King in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada a few hours ago on 08-August-2016 for CA$7,95 sampled in my hotel room here in downtown Toronto a few hours later before heading off to Hawaii!
