The taste is slightly tart but also fruity and round which makes this Quetsche à l’ancienne may be more accessible for non-experts or less sophisticated palates. It also has a slight dryness from the skin of the plums. The nose perceives a plum brandy perfume.

Cellar dwellar i've been keeping myself since release. Finally relieved from its corked existance in 2026... pours dark alber, quite a big and stable white head! Scent is dusty, funky lambic, oak, mild fruityness, still. taste is surprisingly vibrant. very matruee, citrussy, yet complex acidity. Damp cellar (in a good wayà) loads of oak, very dry, mild fruityness still rpesent. Aged gracefully, old in the best ways a lambic can get old, let alone a fruit lambic. Still a good, even relatively high carbonation. This held up incredibly well, and is nowhere near the drainpour I feared it to be. Perhaps slightly less fruity, but I like it more now, than I remember I ever liked it fresh !

Toujours bien vivace même avec plus de 10 ans.
Fruité de prune encore là tant au nez que en bouche - funk assumé avec une belle effervescence en fin de bouche - assemblage des lambics reste complexe.

Bottle @ SKAAL Sønderborg, shared by Henrik. Pours murky orangeish with small off-white head. Clear aroma of Lambic yeast, with dusty and fruity notes. Dry flavour of wild yeast, with rough and dusty botes amd touches of malt and berries. Dry aftertaste with dusty touches. Decent.

biottle at cask days 2018. Purple pour, with a small pinkish head. Aroma is plums, sour plums. General fruitness, wet hay, and solid funk notes. lively mouth feel, lively carb. Finish is sour, but with a subtle fruity sweetenss, and some ripe plum rounds it out.

Orange colour, no head, as expected; aroma of vinegar, acetone, vinous, unripe green apple, yeasty and woody notes; taste is the sam with citric acidy notes; great one
