The Mosaic hop is a great all-rounder. A hybrid of Simcoe and Nugget it can be used for bittering, aroma and dry hopping, so we did all of those. This batch is 10.5% alpha, 3% beta. The Mosaic/644 IPA combo results in huge tropical flavours, and an almost Champagne like bready nose.

440ml can. Hazy golden with a stupidly big white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, bready. Taste is sweet, tropical fruits, mango, gooseberry, bready malts, dry and bitter finish. Medium-ish body, overcarbed. Nice though.

Can from Westhill SS. It pours hazy bright golden with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy green grape, vinous, melon, yellow plum, fragrant, gooseberry fool, cracker, sponge cake and hay. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, white grape, vinous, gooseberry, greengage, twist of citrus, pine, straw, touch of sponge cake and crackery malts with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Quite a unique combo. Works well.
