750 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.7%. Moderately hazy pale yellow colour, small white head. Lovely and strong aroma of cider apples, farmhouse, oak and spicy saison yeast. The flavour is medium dry, with notes of sour and bitter cider apples, saison yeast and moderate hops, hints of grapefruit and tannins.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from online maybe. Pours mostly clear yellow-gold with a modest, fading foamy white head. Really fun stuff, nice tartness, good mixed ferm character with the added nuance of semi-ripe apple, some musty funk, a little grass, lemon. Medium bodied with spritzy carbonation. Clean finish, tart and quenching, more citric bite, musty apple accents. Excellent.

Bottle shared with my lovely lady friend. The aroma is musty, funky, farmyard, hay, sweet - sour, scrumpy cider vibes, apple skin, touch of spice, oak and vanilla. The taste is crisp, dry, puckering, zingy sherbet vibes, dry cider, quite juicy, apple skin, apple pie, hay, some vanilla, twist of citrus, oak and light tannin with a dry, fruity finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Quite vibrant and rather flavourful. Balanced and moreish.
