Loris was the first in our series of Imperial fruited Berliner Weisses. We carefully soured this imperial version to bring a refined and refreshing lactic sourness and added 200g/l of apricots at the end of fermentation. Loris is tart and crisp, yet rounded and fruity.

Cask @ Knott Bar, Manchester. Hazed golden-amber with a small head and a very mild fizz in the palate. It has some sourness and apricot is evident as a low fruitiness.

Danke an minutemat. Süffiger, moderat säuerlicher Beginn. Natürlich, intensiv nach Aprikose, feine Karbonisierung. Die Säure bleibt gering aber erfrischend, spritzig, rund. Mittellanger Nachgeschmack von Aprikosen. 7/10/11/11/10/11

440ml can from the brewery. Pours a glowing orange, small persistent white head. Aroma is light jammy apricot. Taste is extremely light with pleasant smooth apricot that's not too imposing, light salt, tangy lemonade, delicately crisp on the palate, very dry close. Refined, soft fruity nuances, not overly lactic. Tastes nowhere near 7.2%. Great fruity Berliner.

Keg at MK VHX, 20/11/18. Hazed golden yellow with a big old egg shell white cap. Nose is lemon sherbets, apricot pissoi, hay bale, grains. Taste comprises tangy apricot, lemon rind, damp cloth, lactic nip, straw, green berry skins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light acidic bite. Ok Linner ... quite meaty for the style so not as refreshing as I'd prefer.

Can. Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazed, marmalade orange. Ring of white head. Nose has dried apricot. Apricot jam. Soft, wheaty sourness. Taste is tart and dry. Some fruity sweetness. Fairly clean mouthfeel. Foamy carbonation. Tart, fruity finish. Ok. Seems to fall between styles for me. A Berliner it ain’t, though.

Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. A bit lactic for me, but OK.
