Bottle 0,75ltr: Clear golden lager from French-Flanders, bought the bottle in the town of the brewery. Not really sweet, not really bitter, just a good thirstquencher. Also i think French brewers copy Stella Artois, but this one is much better than Stella Artois.

Keg @ Estaminet de la Longue Croix, Hondeghem, Belgium. Pours clear gold, white head. NondeScript aroma. Taste is a rather inoffensive grassy pilsner, some cereal grains coming into play. Clean and light, but lacking a nice sweet flavour.

Originally rated December 2007. Best before date on bottom of the can is 23-05-2008. Pours a light yellow colour with a small slightly-creamy white head. Uneven carbonation and mild lacing. The smell at first is a good malty scent, but after a few seconds of breathing, this beer smells metallic. This is also apparent in the taste mildly. But overall, has that pilsner flavour. Refreshing when cold, but that is about it for this one.

Pours bright yellow with little head. Aroma of dry cardboard, the same as any other macro pils out there. Flavour is a sour grass and cardboard mix, that foul taste of lemon and paper that you get from pretty much any bottom shelf beer. Except this stuff is pricey in Québec, about three bucks a 500ml can, which just kinda sucks. It’s not particularily lame, just generally lame overall.

Canette 500ml.

Can: Poured a bright golden color lager with a nice pure white bubbly head with minimum retention. Aroma of grainy malt with some light skunky notes and maybe even buttery malt notes. Taste is also dominated by skunky notes with some grainy malt. Body is about average with some average carbonation. Definitely something I won’t seek out again.

A very pale straw pils with a thick lacing white head. Anemic. Aroma is herbal and citrusy. In mouth, crisp and lightly sweet herbal malt, with a rather powdery light body. Overall, boring offering.

750ml bottle at Kent BF 2006. Pale gold with lasting white head. Lager hop aroma. Quite flowery. A bit of a blend between a lager and a biere de garde. Good biting hop finish. Pale malt in mouth doesn’t let it down. Good summer drink.
