Our take on the classic Belgian witbier riffs on the style's characteristic spice profile and takes it all the way back to the motherland of spices. The original recipe for Bombay Dazzler was developed as the world's first Anglo-Indian craft brewing collaboration between Northern Monk Brew Co. and Mumbai's Gateway Brewing Co. We continued refining the recipe with Bundobust to pair seamlessly with their renowned Indian vegan street food. As Bundobust grows their empire, we stepped up the game with Bombay Dazzler and brought it to the Core range where it belongs. As you gaze upon the dazzling label art by our Patron Drew Millward, focus your senses and savour the harmonious algorithm of ginger, cardamom and coriander with your favourite curry.

Can. Very hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth malts, sweetish. Plenty of bubblegum esters. Light spices - tastes like cinnamon, cumin and a pinch of coriander. Some very ripe orange and lemon citrus underneath. Light finish finds banana esters coming to the fore. It’s a fun beer to try but I didn’t want to finish it, got a bit chewy.

330 ml. can. BBF 23AUG2017. Wit beer with ginger, coriander seeds & cardamon pods. Commissioned for Bundobust a vegetarian & vegan Indian restaurant. Brewer recommended pairing it with heavily spiced Indian food. Paired with a split mung bean & red lentil dish, coriander, peat smoked garlic, Carolina reaper sauce (thx! tderoeck), olives, tomato sauce, salad, soy yoghurt etc. Not sure about the combo, not the biggest success but I am also not into food & beer pairing. Tried the beer prior to trying the dish. Hazy ghee golden beer, little head. Nose is oily sweet, butter, wheat & coriander seeds, little ginger which is bit soap. Spices are far milder than I had hoped. Taste is too butter, buttery wheat mixed with soap (ginger I assume) & coriander seeds, banana, far too soapy, butter tasting. Soft carbonation. Not a success for me, too bad. Westbrook White Thai is a vastly superior execution of this concept.

Can at home picked up from caps and taps. A light hazed golden coloured pour with a fading white frothy head. Aroma is light spices, chamomile and lemon rind, damp hair, spicy citrus and pale grains.Little earthy sea weed quality on the noise is a bit weird. Flavour is composed of pale malts, spicy citrus, little stale wheat, muted spices, chamomile. Palate is semi crisp, grainy, highish prickly carbonation. Meh. Swing and a miss.

33cl can from Beer52.com. A really fizzy pour, but resulting in a cloudy straw coloured beer with absolutely no head; aroma of banana and cloves; sweet in the mouth with banana and some ginger adding warmth and touch of dryness; then a warming, lightly spiced finish. Unusual and very drinkable.
