37.5 cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Tderoeck and 77ships. BB 28/03/2018. Lot# 0038.

Note: biggest surprise of the evening! Wow!
Little cloudy orange beer, creamy white head, little stable, bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of banana, banana candy and banana milk shake, sugary, some forest fruits, sweet. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: little bitter, bit spicy, sweet, but not too sugary, some banana. Aftertaste: sweet, fruity, apricots, some citrus, banana, little spicy, pretty balanced. Damn, this is a very good tripel!

Bottle. Hazy dark orange with very small foamy white head, slight citrusy aroma, low carbonation, sweetish malt taste, long finish with orange peel aftertaste. Quite a good attempt at an Abbey Tripel.

Beige, cloudy, big fluffy head. Yeasty aroma, light pear note. The taste is dry, yeasty light with lots of dried apricot. Austere but complex tripel, I like it.

Bottle at Delirium RJ. It pours deep golden yellow, with a foamy white head. The nose is cinnamon, hay, straw, banana, apple and pear. The taste is peach, nectarine, tart apple, banana, hay, straw, spice and some alcohol warmth, with a dry finish. Fruit is not over-powering or too sweet. Medium-full body and lively carbonation. Smooth and well balanced. A very good tripel.

A hazed amber ale with athick creamy off white head. In aroma, a surprisingly nice spiced coriander and curacao, with light alcohol. In mouth, nice caramel malt with curacao, oily mouthfeel, warming alcohol. Rich and smooth. Bottled, at Mondial 2010.
