5th October 2008. Cloudy amber beer - doesn’t look like a blonde! Slightly tart start leads to a dry but creamy mid. A little caraway in there as well. Easy drinking.

330mL bottle - pours a beautiful clear golden yellow with a sizable white head. Lots of citrus in the nose, as well as orange. Flavour is accordingly similar, with a nice spiciness. Dry, crisp finish. Very nice.

33cl bottle from Dranken Geers. Hazy blond beer with lasting quick thick beige head. Bit of puke on aroma. A lot better in mouth, with some decent lightness to the malts. And then some ok hop on finish. Still, not the greatest blond in the world. Ok.

On tap at Eulogy, Philadelphia 18-11-08 and called Busty Blonde. This beer had the most wonderful honeycomb nose, really nice waxy comb scent coming off the beer, mmhhhh.. The beer pours a lemony yellow with a white fluffy head. Taste is funky, fruity and yeasty, its not earth shattering but it’s a nice beer. A7 A4 F7 P3 OV13 3.4

Bottle @ home.Light unclear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, citrus, fruity, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. (Bitternes is citrus - lime shell bitter). Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (120508)

Bottle: Poured a deep cloudy golden color ale with a huge pure white foamy head with good retention and good lacing. Aroma consists of medium sweet typical Belgian malt (not that this is a bad thing) with some interesting floral notes. Taste is also dominated by some medium sweet malt with some notes floral and a lightly spice and great refreshing yeast strain. Body is quite full with some great carbonation and no discernable alcohol. Not extremely complex but really well done and refreshing for the style.

Draft as Eulogy’s Busty Blonde at Eulogy Belgian Tavern in Philadelphia, PA. Rest of the family was site seeing, only had time to duck in for one pint. It was a beautiful early summer day, so figured this beer would hit the spot. Pour is golden yellow, really hazy with a nice white head. Pretty in the glass. Aroma of lemon / orange citrus, Belgian yeastiness and earthiness. Taste was nicely sweet with orange flavors. Nice earthy flavor. Palate was light-medium and made this quite easy to drink. Certainly a great beer for the moment.

330ml bottle. Clear gold in colour with a big, tight white head and plenty of carbonation. Perfumed spice and herb aroma followed by a sweet, slightly spiced flavour and a decent dry finish. Enjoyable.
