(Bottle) Brownish black colour with brief beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark bread, sweet liquorice, soy sauce, dark chocolate, vanilla and orange peel. Malty, roasty, sweet taste with notes of dark bread, treacle, sweet liquorice, cinnamon, dark chocolate, vanilla and a mild cacao bitterness in a sweet and warming finish. Full body, thick and oily mouthfeel. Sweet. On the sweet side, but rich and tasty. Very nice.

Bottle from HopSin Brewpub, Colares. Quite sweet and sugary, big pastry aroma with chocolate, lactose, sugar, roasted malt, chocolate syrup, caramel. Mild bitter, sweetness abound. Sticky full body. Bit too sweet and pastry-like, but overall pretty tasty.

Bottle courtesy of Moritz, tasted with the München Ratebeer Group Christmas Tasting Friday 2nd December 2022. Very oily and thick mouthfeel, a touch heavy on the lactose, not sure what this is aged in but a little bit of a hard sell on the aroma. Nonetheless it's a great beer.

Bottle. Dark brown. Smell is boozy - and wooden earthy dark leather, lactose, old milk, red wine barrel-aged, prune. Taste is better than the smell; oily milky, chocolate coffee.

Bottle. Murky brown, low head. Boozy estery nose. Medium body, dry harsh booze, drowning out the hint of spice. Liquid headache.

Bottled, thx Ritzn for sharing with the Garching Xmas tasting! Cellary fruity aroma, like imperfect barrels, light vanilla maybe, but it's not barrel aged? Weird. Soft, lean, dry, coconut, vanilla, citric, lightly roasty, bitterish, pleasant, but... unsure about it. Too lean, light, dry.

Super black and oily, no head. Nose is a bit soy heavy, it smells a bit eggy but maybe that's manufactured due to thinking about pastel di natas. The flavor is super roasty with nice vanilla notes, huge mouthfeel but that's to be expected from a 10% pastry with lactose. Interesting imperial!

Bottle. Black color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, red wine, pretty fruity. Taste is chocolate, red fruits, cinnamon too. Not too thick, velvety mouthfeel, fine-bubbled carbonation. Good!
