Bottle @ home. Pretty nice tripel, standard yellow / golden colored, average head. Decent smell, nice taste and good mouthfeel.

Cloudy gold beer. Dry palate. Odd flavour. Brandyish malt, slight hint of chocolate?! A little orange spice as well. Over dry and somewhat disjointed!

Bottle from Asao. Malty, honey, stewed fruit aroma, fusels, canned peaches, comes off as  a bit aged. Deep gold with medium head. Fruit, peaches, strong alcohol, honey flavor. Quite wacky and out of balance. Some bitter hops with a huge alcohol burn. Strange and not particularly good.

2004 Vintage bottle@Kulminator in 2011, tried it before in 2010, taste hasn’t changed much since then: it has a very pronounced caramel taste, slightly bordering on, with hints of liquorish, this is probably a result of the aging, near pure caramel malts, very sweet

Huge solid head, bright yellow body with some carbonation. Soft aroma of malts and alcohol, with some hops to make it feel a little bit lighter. Taste is smooth and malty with an alcohol bite at the end. In fact it’s nice for a tripel, good drinking; yet, it does not stand out from a crowd.

330 ml bottle. Hazy orange body with a big white head. Aroma is sweet fruity, spicy and yeast. Flavor is sweet and fruity with spices, actually a bit less sweet than an average Belgium tripel, and that’s a good thing. Some alcohol flavor in the finish. OK medium tripel.

33cl bottle from Dranken Geers. Clear gold, very lasting carbonation. Thick lasting beige head. Pretty light tripel, more like a strong blond to be honest. Some creaminess. It’s alright, if a bit characterless.

Bottle. Pours with a hazed pale gold body and a frothy white head. Aroma of bread, plastic, berries and unripe pear. A waft of mandarin orange liquor. Taste is yeasty with undercooked bread, rotten orange and a bit of an odd yeasty caramel aftertaste. Slightly dry and tart finish. Not bad, but certainly not memorable. Very lively and shrill carbonation. Dry mouthfeel.
