Bottle at the brewpub, Hauzenberg Friday 29th December 2023 as the Krampus (about 25-30) came marching in. Pours hazy amber with a white head, nice soft mouthfeel, perhaps a little bit too cold on the pour. Some sweetness a little touch of herbs, soft mouthfeel. It's fine.

Bottle from Haussmann Getränke. Brownish amber with a great head, strange nose with a bit of spoiled veg (?) Which fortunately I don't notice in the taste. Flavor has mainly some interesting bready grain/yeast notes, a bit like my mom's punching bread. Little hop character noticeable. Very high carb. Note: over time the nose improved to be less vegetal and a bit more bread-yeast.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy amber, large frothy white head. Aroma: Malt, hop, spicy and citrus hints. Taste: Very malty, some wheat malt, some grain. Moderate sweet, light bitterness and light to moderate sour. Hints of spices and hints of orange and tangerine. Below medium body, jist below average carbonation. Watery. Short and slightly metallic finish. Not much to do with Farmhouse. Mwah...

Bottle, end off BB. Clear red golden, amber foam. Lightly barnyardy honeyish nose. Medium light body, slightly too dried out minerally. Grainy, a bit rural notes, toasted bread, light tart notes, earthy bitter finish.

330ml bottle. Clear, amber-ish brown colour with small, frothy, fading, off-white head. Grainy and yeasty fruity, muesli-like aroma, hints of cereals, red berries, cherry. Taste is grainy and yeasty fruity, hints of cereals, red berries and cherry; almost no body, pure surface.

Flascherl: Hazy, amber coloured, small off-white foamy layer; sourish-fruity, caramelly and metallic nose, traces of mushrooms also; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; fruity-toasty sweetish-sourish finish. Not really necessary...
