19th Nov 2018. Monthly Share Group meeting in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury, only three of us this time. Thanks Mat for this 33cl bottle; BB 8th May 2019. A deep amber body, almost brown; the head an off-white affair. Malty molasses rule the brew with caramel notes to the fore in both the aroma and semi-sweet taste. My sweet tooth liked it.

It pours Coca-Cola colored, with a thick, long-lasting, tan head. Aroma is rather sweet: hazelnut, caramel, maple syrup. Moutfeel starts fizzy and dry, somewhat watery even though it covers the full mouth. Bitterless, short-lingering finish.
