500ml can. Pours a bright pinky orange colour (a bit like Fanta) with an off white head which doesn’t last. Aroma: grapefruit juice with a slight hint of wheat. Taste: sweet pink grapefruit juice and a hint of wheat malt, finishes with light bitterness. Light-medium body, moderate carbonation.
I enjoyed this and found it very refreshing, drinks like a soft-drink though.

From a 7/11 in Seattle, drunk from the can at the Space Needle. Aroma of grapefruit, sugar, orange, almost no wheat. Tastes medium sweet, light sour and very light bitter. Thin body, sticky texture, fizzy carbonation.

330ml bottle into weizen glass. Sweet grapefruit nose. Cloudy amber beer, high carbonation, large creamy white head. Malty sweet with a grapefruit tang at the end. Easy drinking adult soft drink that needs some more bitterness from the grapefruit to be really satisfying.

Can. Mitchell’s Wines, Sheffield. Colour of pink grapefruit juice. Ring of small bubbles. Very cloudy. Nose has tinned grapefruit and wheat. Not a lot else, but then you’d probably not expect it. Taste is sweet and juicy. Lemonade like mouthfeel. Does have some dryness. Juicy sweet finish. Thankfully it doesn’t come across artificial at all, and on a warm day is definitely one I’d have again.

0.33 l bottle at ’Zum Alten Markt’, best before August 2017. Hazy, orange with a large, soapy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, a little sourish and quite fruity aroma of lots of grapefruit and sorbet powder. Very sweet, minimally sourish, very fruity and a bit chemical taste of lots of grapefruit, capri ice and sorbet powder, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a bit tart, rather sweet finish. Thin to medium body, moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Quite drinkable, actually very refreshing, but still way too sweet and hardly any beer left.

Pour mon premier Radler, je dois avoir que c’était vraiment apprécié en cette journée ensoleillée. Ça ne mousse pas du tout et il n’y a aucune amertume perceptible. Les qualités d’une Blanche et celles du jus de pamplemousse y sont, mais diluées. Je boirais ça au petit déjeuner au lieu d’un simple jus ;-)
