Bottle: Poured a black color stout with a brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing notes. Aroma of chocolate notes with some liquorice and residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of chocolate malt notes with some liquorice and light residual sugar notes. Body is average with good carbonation with no real discernible alcohol notes. Interesting flavors but a bit thin and enjoyable nonetheless.

Deep brown with a medium, fizzy beige head. Dark malts, sweet caramel, ripe fruit, chocolate, wood. There is a touch of sour. Medium to thin body. An interesting beer that I find thin and lacking for an imperial stout. Better than the Balsamico version but still nothing to write home about.

A deep dark stout with a very thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, light peated notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light vanilla, light vinous character, alcohol warmth, very nice.

Bottle courtesy of Ursula and consumed at home in the company of Jonas, Ursula and Marko Friday 7th February 2025 listening to ByteFM, we had Beef Stifado and a Greek Salad for tea tonight. Barrel ageing immediately noticed it's a bit boozy but there's a lot going on here with liquorice, btw someone amongst us said balsamic and they're right. It's not too heavy very much a bonkers Belgian creation. Lovely.

Bottle. Dark red, claret shine, low head. Berry, balsamic nose already, light roast. Sweet, a bit cough sirup, licorice, sweet berry, light peppery, sweet, port-like, but, surprisingly drinkable for its girth.

Thx Ursula for bringing the bottles from the Netherlands! Extremely dark red body, no head. Vaguely tart aroma, sour cherries and brown sugar. Sugary, sweet taste, caramel, brown sugar, vague chocolate, some griotte-style sour cherries, vague balsamic notes, loads of heat in the finish. A bit much to be fair, lovely but a bit too much...
