Hazy yellow, small white head. Crisp wheat aroma with some light citrus zest, and some floral grasses and herbs. Hints if mint, maybe some lime. Mouth feel thin, carb is good. The finish is clean, and crisp. Good wheat flavours, solid coriander and some more mint. Low bitterness, dry finish.

Draft: Poured a light yellow color ale with a medium foamy head. Aroma of coriander and orange peel notes is quite pleasant. Taste is a good mix of coriander and orange peel with some lightly sweet wheat malt notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Very refreshing take on the style with right amount of spices.

Deux Freres’ Charles Henri White 5.1% Apparently it won Bronze at the 2016 Canadian International Beer Awards. It pours a cloudy straw gold with tons of wheat and nice coriander in the aroma. Well balanced flavor of coriander, wheat and lime. 

Hazy, very light golden-yellow colour with a white cap, good retention and some nice creamy-foamy lacing. Aromas of fresh wheat with orange peel notes, hints of honey and some spices, like coriander. The taste shows some nice spices as well, but quite mild overall with just a hint of wheat and oranges. Refreshing, but more on the dry side with some decent hops getting stronger as it goes. Decent witbier with more hops than others of this style.

A hazed blonde wit with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity banana malt with cloves, light sulfur notes, light and smooth. In mouth a nice fruity banana malt with cloves, coriander, curacao light thyme, nice and smooth. On tap at Festival Brassicole des Laurentides 2015.

Olfactif: La coriandre est ici en évidence avec des notes d’anis et une touche de menthe poivrée. Visuel: Jaune aux reflets verdâtres avec une mousse demi-pouce de densité moyenne, qui tient un moment, en y laissant quelques traces. Gustatif: L’effervescence est très active en entrée de bouche avec des notes de coriandre assez prononcées et des traces d’orange. Sans posséder un profil gustatif très élaboré, elle a cependant le mérite d’être très rafraichissante.

Assez sucrée pour une blanche, avec une odeur de fruit, de bois et d’un truc se rapprochant du romarin. Pas fracassant comme introduction à ce nouveau brasseur mais somme toute satisfaisant. Le design de l’étiquette me rappelle le format 341 ml de la blanche des Trois Mousquetaires, jadis...
