In collaboration with 3FE Coffee.
Heart of Chambers is a Double Coffee & Oatmeal Porter brewed using all the bells and whistles our equipment can deliver to take viscosity and texture to new heights while combining the beer with extremely fresh roasted coffee taken straight from 3FE’s roastery in Dublin direct into our tanks. We’ve made great effort to minimise our own roast contribution providing instead the low end caramels and toffees you’d expect in a big Porter while Kiriga takes centre space with all the beautiful top notes from its addition.

Dark with a fizzy head. Thin bodied. Coffee, roast, earth, cocoa. Very thin overall and a touch disappointing.

Small sample, on tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Black colour, moderate tan head. Distinct aroma and flavour of chocolate and coffee, hints of vanilla. Not too sweet.

After that very subpar brew from Nagahama I needed something much better to forget it so pounced on this phone coffee beer from Ireland. Whiplash x 3FE Coffee Heart of Chambers Coffee & Oatmeal Double Porter 7.1% Cola black pour with ruby highlights and a rusty tan head of foam. Roasty soft aroma with savory notes. Medium to full bodied and silky smooth. Very smooth and slightly sweet coffee flavor. Damn good stuff.

Can. Wine Rack Sheffield. Fridge clear out job. BBD 5 months ago. Sits nearly black in the glass. Lovely sticky tan head. Fully lacing. Looks well. Nose has earthy coffee. Caramel chocolate. Milky coffee. Some dried fruit. Taste has an initial sweetness turning dry and light vinous bitter. Smooth with fine carbonation. Gets dry and earthy on the finish.

440ml can delivered from the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Dark brown, opaque with a tiny tan head. Smells mainly of coffee but I'm getting paper, dark chocolate and a touch of blackberry. Sweet taste, lots of coffee, leading to light hop bitterness closer to the long finish. I'm getting single estate chocolate, smoke and a touch of warming booze. Silky, creamy body, with light carbonation. Brilliant stuff.

Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty roast, rich coffee, woodland fruit, blackberries, chocolate liquore, black forest gateaux. Palate is semi sweet, oily, moderate carbonation.
