Can shared at work. Kozepesen-erosen testes, csokis, melaszos, kicsit foldes-porkoltmalatas. Diot csak nyomokban lehet felfedezni, a mez inkabb megmutatkozik illataban, ami kisse meglepo. Van egy kis desszert vibe-ja, nem rossz osszessegeben, de tobbet vartam.

44cl can shared with the El Birrot crew.

Can thnx to BBP crew. pours black, medium small , mocha colored head. Scent is very roasty, trhick, creamy, mild sharp edge to it, but not to be defined as honey nor walnuts when sampled blind. Boozyness is very well hidden. Taste is full, creamy, fairly sweet with a mild bitterness. Silky roast, dark chocolate, mild coffee. Alcohol very well hidden, low carbo. What a body and base beer. I've said it before, since 2020 BBP started really kickin' it! and this is just another step upward in their rise to the top . I would have liked the ingredients to pop out more / usage of louder ingredients. But sampled blindly? this is a stout you might believe is made by one of the US's great names. If you wanna take price in concideration, this is even better. Nothing but respect here!

Can from Geers. Cloudy black, big, frothy, beige head with bubbly edges, beehive-like coincidentally. Aroma of chocolate sauce, brownie, candied fig, raisin, meringue, walnut oil, fudge, dark honey, sweet coffee. Taste has sweet fig, date and raisin in a thick chocolatey malty profile with dark honey and fudge; slightly bitter coffee and sweet-umami teriyaki in the middle. Herbal, bit peppery hoppy finish, dry nutty but subordinate to sweet sugared coffee & treacle as well as warming liqueur-like alcohol. Full body, sticky-oily texture, soft carbonation. Very flavourful but has the impression of having been 'thrown together' somewhat.

Can picked up from Etre Gourmet webshop Grez-Doiceau Belgium and consumed at home, Sunday 30th May 2021 still sat outside in glorious 🌞 we had Pesto Salmon Burgers with Balsamic Grilled Asparagus and Chipped Potatoes, listening to Nubya Garcia. Pours black with a large beige head. Rich roasted malts on the nose, cinder toffee, chocolate, and a little honey. The aforementioned come through in the mouth, there is a little nutty edge, vanilla, smooth, cinder toffee again, burnt malts, quite sweet throughout. This is quite good but truth be told I expected a lot more from this collaboration.

28/V/21 - 44cl can from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: 1/IV/22 (2021-431)
Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy dense beige to brown head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: good roast, bit oxidized, coffee, dark chocolate, caramel notes, little fruity, some dried fruits. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, caramel, bit sugary, alcohol, lots of warming alcohol, sweet, caramel, some vanilla, lots and lots of chocolate, some coffee. Aftertaste: little bitter, nice roast, coffee and cocoa powder, bit sweet, sugary, lot and lots of alcohol, bit hoppy in the finish, very nice liquid dessert! Not getting much honey or walnuts though...
