Poured a copper color with orsnge hues with a foamy, lacing slightly off white head. Yeasty, grainy, malty aroma. Delicious flavor, vanilla, brown sugar, a touch of citrus and honey. Warming in the mouth and slightly oily. I found this to be very refreshing and fun to drink.

Golden amber body with a one finger high head that is more bubbly than foamy. Aromas are sweet, of apple juice and caramel with a little bit of coriander mixed in. Flavor picks up on apple juice and caramel sweetness with a little bit of an earthy finish that has a touch of peat and coriander spicing that balances the beer out well. That said, it is doesn’t drive towards any spectacular or complex flavorings or innovative mixings.

500ml bottle sampled with Finn. Off-white head. Amber coloured with brilliant clarity. Refreshing malt aroma. Taste of sallow and malt. Moderate bitter finish. Medium bodied, smooth and a bit too carbonated (The Lamb, London 14.09.2006).

Cask at Cph Beerfestival. Golden beer with a bubbly white head. Aroma is malty, with caramel and even some citric notes. Bitter up front on the flavor, malty and slightly fruity from the hops. Thin body with a citrus-bitter finish. (060519)

(Cask at Lamb, Holborn, London 20 Apr 2006) Dark copper colour with almost no head. Nose is rather sweet, malty and fruity with some flowery hop notes. Taste is dominated by malt, starts somewhat sweet, with a slightly drier finish with a flowery, hoppy and almost "chocolatey" character.
