Bottle. Shared with the missus on her birthday. Hazed deep gold. Slim ring of white. Stinks. In a good way. Oak. Balsamic. Leather. Sauternes grape, according to the missus. Dunno where that comes from. Taste is sharp tart fruity and light bitter. Slick and bonkers at 12%. Juicy funky tart finish. Oof.

Kerstbier Festival. (Barrique 6) Slightly hazy dark golden beer with a white head. Aroma of brett, wood, strong pale malt. Taste of Brett, tart grapes, wood, vineous finish.

Bottle, huge thanks Stefan for sharing! Clearish orange-copperish aroma, ivory head. Interesting big buttery-orange, milk caramel perhaps, aroma. Sweet malty taste, dried orange candy, huge alcohol presence, extremely warming, some oak, ends tart and alcoholic. Still messy, might become lovely in some time, now.... huh, overrated I'd say, out of a sample from one bottle, so...

Bottle: barrique no. 12 I picked up from the brewery, tasted with the München Ratebeer Group Christmas Tasting Friday 2nd December 2022. Pours light/mid gold with a white head, a little buttery on the nose, nice softness, a good beer but I prefer the regular version, sadly I think that this is a little bit underwhelming. Perhaps it will improve with age.

Bottle. Yeah, christmas tasting! Clear amber. Leather, moldy apples; booze. Nice start, and then a bold wave. I like the mouthfeel. At the end there is a boozy edge.

Bottle. Hazy golden, light flecks, low offwhite head. Light boozy fruity notes. Medium full, boozy dry, hot buttered apple cider. Funky dry, cobwebbs, interesting, but too boozy sweet overall.

Bottle, barrique no. 12. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is yeasty, apricots, quite estery, dash of butter. Taste is apricots, Belgian yeast esters, festive indeed, not too complex yet, but very tasty. High carbonation. Hot buttered Cider is a good description for this.

Clear golden. Aroma is mushroom caramel light wheat honey grass. Taste is spicy yeasty honey with some apricot some herbs and hay with butter. Pretty unrounded. Heavy stuff. Kinda random...

Big bottle at the 2022 Christmas Tasting. Barrique No. 12. Clear gold, very nice looking head. Oaky vanilla nose, wow. The flavor is super dry sherry, a bit of onion, very complex, excellent mouthfeel with super bubbly carbonation. Really awesome one, super enjoyable, now gotta run to catch the U-Bahn!
