Bottle (single batch brew - limited edition 2016). Color: Black, nutbrown head. Taste: Dark roasted malt, mostly sweet, dark coffee, notes of nuts and chocolate, prunes, alcohol. Long lasting earthy and bittery mouthfeel and finish. Bit sticky. Medium to full body, below medium carbonation. Nice one!

Fra fat på Mi2 Cardinal, mai-17: brunsvsrt med særdeles flott skum som oppfører seg eksemplarisk helt til siste dråpe. Fløyelsmyk aroma og smak med stor fylde - dessertsjokolader, fiken, kvalitetskaffe - alt i superb balanse. Urtepreget (lakris?) bitterhet med sjokoladekjeks i avslutningen.

From tap at Mi2 at Cardinal 08.05.17. Ebony. Brown head. Aroma of dark malt and dates. Taste of sweet dark caramel, dates, figs and dark syrup. Bitterness in aftertaste. Very fine and round mouthfeel.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours black with beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, dark bread, hay, flowers, some aroma of dark dried fruits. Tastes very bitter, some sweetness. Medium bodied, bitter finish.

On tap at Cardinal Pub Bar, Stavanger. Black colour, large tan head. Aroma of malts, grain and dust, hints of chocolate and liquorice. Roasty flavour, slightly sweet, notes of chocolate, liquorice and coffee. Bitter aftertaste.

Tap, Taphouse. Roasted, raw licorice aroma. Thick, creamy moutfeel. Flavour has more licorice, dried druit and nicely balanced bitterness.
