Quite simply, the way it should be - roasty wholesemness flowing throughout an incredibly rich body.

Shrewsbury Beer Share Group Meeting, Chez Sophie; 28th Oct 2019. Cheers Mike for this 330ml can. Black with a head of tan. Chocolate and coffee esters in the nose, the taste is also dominated by those two flavours. Nice balance between dry, bitter and sweetness.

330ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Oct 19, thanks Mike for this. A beer that everyone here assumed they'd had already, but no one had. Deep hazed dark appearance, frothy tan topping. Aroma of roast, coffee. Taste is roasty dark malts with a nice coffee presence, good malty edge. Very good stout.

V Trip Time Beer. Vona kavy ide hned. Kavova nepriesvitna farba. Pena sa zlahka drzi. V chuti melta skor ako kava, sladkost ku koncu voda. Po chvili len na podnebi citit neurcitu horkost a vodu. Skoda.

Pitch black, good frothy tan head, dissipates to a thin layer, heavy lacing. Aroma roasted malt, cocoa, coffee. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, roasty, dark chocolate, light coffee. Sweet and mild bitter aftertaste, light chocolate, coffee groundings, light earthy notes. Medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, no-nonsense stout, easy to drink, sessionable.
