Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice white head with good duration. Color is hazy golden. Aroma and taste are sweet malt, yeast, fruits and hops. Sweet finish.

Bottle, 8%. Hazy dark yellow with small white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, yeast, spices and a little apple. Flavour is malt, yeast, medium sweet, hop, phenols and bitter.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and yeasty. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 050714

33 cl. bottle @ Trollekelder in Gent. Dark orange with a white head. Nose is sweet orange, candy sugar, sweet BE yeast & light yoghurt. Taste is bitter esters, very thick caramel, candy sugar, lots of candy sugar, grains, slightly fruity, yeasty, touch cereal. High carb. Not very exiting but okay brew.

Pours fuzzy yellow/ blonde . Small and fast fading white head Smells very sugary To high carbo . Spices . Bit hops ( very green ) Meh ..

Draft listed as Smisje Oudenaarde 10.5% ABV: Musty currant nose. Cloudy rust, medium yellow head. Soft carbonation. Red currant and crabapple. Not overly tart, nice.

33cl bottle, BB 22/04/2014. Be mindful of the ’bière de luxe’. Doré&e léger trouble, col blanc crémeux. Arôme est houblonné, malt pils, amertume fleuri et herbacé, citronné et houblons nobles. Palais est houblonné épicé, très belge dans l’approche, grains et effervescente, herbacée avec pas mal d’amertume d’houblons typiques pour un style belge. Malt pils-pâle laissant un fini ayant des notes de pomme. Au final, ok, mais on se retrouve avec une autre bière semblable à tant d’autres.

33cl bottle shared by Dutchdrebus. Hazy yellow color, small to medium sized white head. Smell malts, yeast. Taste malts, yeast, slightly herbs, slightly fruity hints. Pretty boring very standard belgian strong ale. Medium body, medium carbonation.

Bottle @ home. Clear pale yellow with a decent white head. Smells sharp, a bit chemical, malts and yeasty. Tastes watery and malts. Mostly a strong pilsener.. Nothing more. Fizzy carbo, thin body.

20/V/2012 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: 28/II/14 (2012-531)

Clear light orange beer, nice creamy white head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet sugary, syrupy, ripe summer fruits, mainly sweet. MF: good carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet fruity, candi sugar, oranges, pretty hoppy as well, citric bitterness, quite a bit of spices, peppery, some yeast. Aftertaste: grassy bitter, peppery, some alcohol, herbal, little sour.
