Bottle. Nose is very pronounced caramel, milk chocolate, chocolate caramels; hint of marshmallow.

Taste follows leading with very pronounced caramel, leading to milk chocolate, then a little smoke and fruit in the finish, which is a little drier and smokier which stops it being cloying.

Is fine for the price, but it's far too sweet to be enjoyable,

Caramels are really heavy in here, the coffee takes a back-seat - but the combination makes it taste like a Cadbury's Crunchie. It's very rich in design with plenty of aftertaste, making up for lesser presence in its aroma. A great example of some very good stuff available on budget supermarket shelves.

I MCd the village quiz last night fuelled by Griffin Gold and it was a huge success. But it means I'm a bit tired today and after the obligatory driving children round the countryside I finally got to enjoy some beers in the garden this afternoon. And this was not one of them. Way too sweet and reminded me of those frapacinno drinks the chain coffee shops sell. There are better beers and this went down the sink. If you have a sweet tooth then I'm sure you will enjoy it, but I like bitterness.

500ml bottle. Dark brown in colour, with a frothy, beige, head. Aroma of sweet Camp coffee, toffee, hazelnuts and vanilla. Flavour was rich more than sweet, with fondant, oaky vanilla, coffee essence, leading to a slightly warming finish. Pretty good.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Aldi. Pours clear cola brown with a creamy, beige head. Medium sweet flavour with notes of sugared black coffee, earth, mellow ashy roast, nips of semi-dark fruits. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Decent balance to finish, little on the sweet side, more black coffee. Tasty.

500ml bottle as a gift from @seanstav - dark brown body with a lasting tan head. Roasted coffee nose with loads of lush good morning tastes. Quality for both the Badger lads and Aldi

I am having a mini-tasting with myself today, 17th March 2023. The wife is out with old school friends, so Bertie and I are home alone until they all turn up later to use our bar. 500ml bottle with a BBD of April 2023. Poured into an old Abbot Ale glass tankard, this is beer number two in the session. Dark ruby/black body, large tanned topping. Huge coffee aroma and initial taste, it's fairly caramel sweet too. My sweet tooth really enjoying this.
