A collaboration with our pals at Glasshouse Beer Co, hailing from Birmingham who are making some truly excellent beer. We've been particularly impressed with their mid-strength hop-forward offerings, combining massive drinkability and hop impact in beers < 6%. So it was no surprise when we got our heads together, that we decided on a 5.6% Pale Ale.
Motueka, Riwaka & Nectaron lead the dry hop for a bright, mouthwatering aroma. On first taste, you're met with bright lime zest, followed immediately by the unmistakable qualities that Riwaka brings (make up your own mind on diesel/bacon frazzles), and finishing with a beautiful fresh navel peach.

(Draught at Mother Kelly's Bethnal Green, London, 25 Nov 2022) Hazy pale yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, grapefruit, lemon, passion-fruit and grass. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of lemon, grapefruit, grass, passion-fruit, pine needles and a balanced citric/grassy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh and tasty, with a good hop profile. Very nice.

Can picked up at Kihoskh and drunk at home (08/12/2022) - hazy golden pour with a white head. Bright and vibrant fruity with some nice tropical and citrus fruity goodness, getting some red grapefruit and pineapple, splash of lime, light sweet pale malts, piney light bitter hoppy close. Lovely and very crushable.

Can. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, very slightly soft, decent fine minerally carbonation. Smooth light malts, a light creamy sweetness. Crisp piney hops that open up into some NZ hop goodness. Slightly lime tinged citrus with a nice light floral aspect. Mild Nectaron tropicals coming through along with a pinch of hop spice. Finishes light and semi dry and leaves a mild hop spice linger. Light, drinkable and delivering a pleasing NZ hop performance.
