Sample @ RedDot winebar. Unclear, a bit darker golden body than the regular oud gueuze under a nice off white head. Delicate aroma of ripe fruit, oak, leather, funk and cellar notes. Taste is smooth with mild acidity, hint of citric fruits, light funk and some kind of oak best described as ‘’old, smooth, sweet, wet wood’’ . Fine body with long lasting pleasant aftertaste. Nice, delicate and gentle geuze.

My first boerenerf! Reminds me a lot of A&G but is a bit sharper and sweeter. All delicious in my heart and stomach, gueuze is life when it isn't barleywine!

Fra 0,75 flaske (den sjette av i alt syv ulike fra dette bryggeriet), i trygge omgivelser på Mi2: lett uklar gylden med fint skum som varer. Lys malt, høy, støv, citrus, litt honning, vanilje og kanel. Deilig balansert surhet i denne.

Telfords Bottleshare #2 040924. Golden-orange color with a white head. Aroma is sourness, yeast, farmhouse. Flavor is sourness, yeast, farmhouse, yeast, apple, funk, hay, grapefruit, citrus, berries, lemon. Very nice beer.

Poured from a 750 ml, 2022 vintage bottle. Aroma is moderately funky with nice herbal, earthy mustiness. Some light floral notes as well as some hints of lemon, stone fruit and green grapes. Hints of oak. Light grain notes and hints of alcohol. Pours a fairly clear, golden color with a medium large, medium thick, fluffy, white head that recedes quickly to a small film that lingers in clumps on the edges. No lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with a moderate acidity and light grain notes. Low bitterness and light alcohol notes. Faint oak notes with some light lemon, under ripe stone fruit and green grapes notes. Light earthy, herbal funk. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with fairly high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid gueuze. Perhaps a touch too acidic for my taste, but the acidity isn't sharp. Could use a bit more barnyard funkiness. Nice fruity and floral notes.

Bottle, 75cl, at Telfords. 2023 vintage. It's an unclear one, orange in color and with a small, dense, white head. The aroma is funky and grapefruity, with generic citrus as well. Some berry hints and pale malts. Leather, barnyard and some hay. It's full-bodied and nicely carbonated, tart, with lots of delicious flavors. Leathery, barnyard-ish funk, lemon and citrus, some pale malts in the back, and a touch of oak and berries. Lasting finish, tasting sweet at first, but it soon reveals its acidity. A delicious one for sure. 240904

750 ml capped & corked green bottle, vintage 2022, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 7%. Moderately hazy golden brownish-orange colour, minimal white head. Lovely aroma of brettanomyces / farmhouse, oak, rustic kitchen and apple cider vinegar. Dry and tart flavour, with dominant brettanomyces and oak, hints of lemons, gooseberries and apple cider vinegar, astringent finish.

Slightly dark golden beer with a white head. Aroma of honey, tart mirabelles. Aroma of sour mirabelles, apricot, rhubarb, very refreshing.
