375mL bottled Dec 14, 2023, drunk Dec 3, 2024. Clear apricot juice (brassy-coppery-golden). Small, off-white head. Lactic acid and light sulfur with strong fruit acid though it's not really overly discernible. Yes, if I sniff at it long enough, I would get apricots, but it's not jumping out of the glass or clearly-expressed. But I like the funk, mild Brett, no acetic and seemingly reasonably mellow lactic character. In the mouth it's a touch metallic, very sulfur-forward, lots of lactic character and a fruity, bretty, apricot laced brightness that seems supressed by all of it. Great malty texture as always (and good wheat softness/chewiness), good attenuation. Just a bit too bogged down by some heavier elements. But of course, it's all of one year-old. My patience to hold lambics for years and years is not what it once was, though.

Pours cloudy blonde. Small white head. Scent is medium intense, apricot is clear, lambic in the back. Taste is dry, sharp lambic. Apricot more subtile. Intense acidity, harsh back.

Bottle. Post clear deep golden. Lots of dry funky cheese, wheat, dry fresh oak, grassy, fresh apricot, gooseberries. Solid sour, just medium sweet with soft tannic Woody bitterness. Over medium bodied. Nice stuff, but Tilquin makes better beers imho.

Bottle: Poured a golden color lambic with a nice off-white foamy head with OK retention and some light lacing. Aroma of tart notes with some vinous oak notes and some Brett notes with funky ester and some fruity apricot notes. Taste is very close to the gueuze with some dry tart notes with some oak and vinous notes, some Brett and funky ester with some fruity apricot notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Enjoyable fruited lambic.

Bottle. Cloudy orange with a frothy white head. Lots of apricot, barnyard, oak, a peachy note, sour, quite sharp, juicy. Great.

O:5.35 V:3.93 G:6.0 C:4.63 G:12.25 T:32.16

10/IX/24 - 37.5cl bottle from the brewery, shared @ home, BB: 14/XII/33 (2024-895)
A little cloudy light orange blond beer, small creamy off-white head, unstable, dissipates quickly. Aroma: nice, lots of brett, earthy, a bit woody, fruity notes, oranges, citrus notes, some yellow stone fruit. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: good, strong acidity, lemony, fruity notes, pretty bitter, some orange peel, bitter and sour grapefruit, spicy, a bit peppery. Aftertaste: nice brett complexity, woody, some tannins, more bitterness, a bit oxidized, fruity, oranges and orange peel, a bit herbal, quite sour in the finish, acidity stinging in the back of the throat.
