Doesn't look great, a murkish pale tan gueuze. Smells good, though, nice and leathery, classic horseblanket, hay. On the palate, this is really dry, with a moreish tartness. It's pretty complex, tilquiny, leaning into the farm stuff but with some dried floral hop notes and more tartness than some of the classic gueuzes. Excellent.

Very enjoyable. Quite dry, with a clean woody character, sturdy grassy bitterness, low funk, dried lemon peel, soft acidity. A few cobwebs. Nicely balanced. Quick finish. Solid.

Pours clear, amberblonde. medium sized, very stable white head. Scent is very funky, mushroomy, slighlty woody,. 60/40 scented more like what I'd expect from this one, this one is the expectations on steroids. Taste is sharp, very similar to the other one. perhaps feels a bit more 'deepened out'. not more acidic, but longer lasting, more complex, more up front and longer lasting. Gives in on the citrussyness the 60/40 excelled at. I perhaps slightly enjoy this one a touch more, but it's very close.

Bottle: Poured a golden color gueuze with a medium foamy head with limited retention and lacing. Aroma of tart notes with some green apple notes, oak and some barnyard notes. Taste is also a good mix of tart notes with some oak, some tart green apple notes, oak with a barnyard notes and a light sour finish with no noted acidity. Body is about average with good carbonation. A really enjoyable geuze with a high drinkability level.

Bottle: pours clear orange with small fizzy head. Aroma is citrusy, wet dog, basements, generally funky. Taste is rather sour, but not too sharp and acidic. Nice sweetness and malt backbone to balance it out. Earthy lingering aftertaste tingles on the tongue. Nice.

0.375 l bottle from 'Etre Gourmet', 2023/2024 vintage, best before January 2034. Hazy, golden orange with a thin, fluffy, slowly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, sourish, quite fruity and gently funky aroma of overripe lemon, hay, white pepper, apple and some horse blanket. Slightly sweet, gently sour, rather fruity and moderately funky taste of overripe lemon, apple, horse blanket, white pepper and some oak, followed by a medium long, quite tart, quite woody-dry finish. Medium body, gently astringent and fairly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Refreshing, fruit-forward Geuze, very well-balanced.
