Bottle from beer shop, St Albans. It pours ever so slightly hazes oaks yellow - gold with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is soft and doughy malts, starburst, rather fruity, tangy, pineapple chunks, guava, watermelon, nectarine and peach melba. The taste is dry, some pleasing bitterness which lingers, a touch green, herbal, pithy, zesty citrus, waxy rind, pineapple, guava, watermelon, raspberry ripple, peach melba and some peppery spice with a drying, zesty finish. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Interesting hop character for sure, quite unique.

Bottle. Beer Stop Dronfield. First Kernel in too long. Hazed lemon yellow gold. Kernel swede in attendance. Nose has very fruity slightly floral notes. Ripe semi fusty tangerine. Yellow Jelly Baby. Tinned peach. As others have said, definitely guava in there. Clean dry malt backdrop. Taste is fairly sweet with just a moderate bitterness. Light body throughout. Fine carbonation. Soft dry bitter finish. Well it’s certainly different on the hop front but it’s lacking some body and malty oomph.

(Draught at Kernel Taproom Arch 7, Bermondsey, London, 20 May 2023) Hazy golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, passion-fruit, peaches, pineapple and grass. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, yuzu, passion-fruit, grass, white bread and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Lots of citric hops, fresh and tasty. Very nice.

Bottle from 'Thirsty' in Cambridge, good service - recommended. Hazy orange gold beer, small but tidy pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, fairly light, develops decent fine minerally carbonation late on. Light sweet malts, a light creamy sweetness. The Superdelic hops (best name they could come up with?) brings a very light kiwi hop style lime, but even lighter. Crisp pine and a little hop spice. Some slightly floral generic fruits. Really late on there is a nice clear and sweet guava note. Something lurks about in the background that is almost banana like, it doesn't have the bouncy fruitiness of banana but a whisper of that soft fleshy creamy bit of banana. Finishes light and semi dry and with some mild bitterness coming through along with more hop spice. Nice beer, very interesting new hop. Hope someone dipas it with a massive overload of said lupulin.
