A dense light tan head on a murky golden body. Nose is of fresh citrus fruit and bread. A solid grapefruit and orange rind hoppiness leads the way in the taste profile, supported by soft bready malt, some soapiness and a touch of pepper. A nice dense, rich body and solid effervescence add to the taste experience.

Growler from the brewery. Dark, clear copper pour, with a big off white head. Huge aroma of candied citrus, and resinous, sticky pine. Some nice caramel malts linger in the background, and add a nice balance. The finish is all piney, citrusy hops. Well balance incredibly flavourful ipa!

Can at Ash's
Cloudy light amber colour. A bit of caramel, more dry than sweet, but the malt base is a bit husky and possibly stale, as the hops.
Not very interesting.

Tall can (thx, Jonathan D.!) at Ash's shared with Alex. Appearance: hazy pale copper with a white head. Aroma: caramel, some humidity. Taste: along the same lines with high piney bitterness. Overall: good old school IPA.

Growler: Poured a deep amber color ale with a large foamy had with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of caramel malt notes with some dry hoppy notes. Taste is a mix of dry caramel malt with some earthy and somewhat citrusy hops with a dry finish. Body is a pretty full for style with good carbonation. Interesting IPA but too much caramel flavours and not enough hops flavours for my taste.

On tap at the Ottawa Beerfest. Hop on your face on cask at the Ottawa beer fest. It is a cloudy orange-brown with a fantastic aroma of hops: resin, pine needles, fruits with the great full mouthfeel and silky body of cask. The taste is balanced hops, a complex array of hop flavors with enough malts to support them and let them shine.

Thanks to PaleAleRider for this one, straight from the brewery. Pours a hazy amber colour with a beige-yellow head that has good retention and limited lacing. Great aromas of hops, but not your typical hopbomb. Well mixed with the fruity and caramel malts. Very slight dry mouthfeel. Grainy malt taste with the hop presence, but again, not too crazy. Just right with some grassy notes that lingers. Gets cloudy near the last pour. This is a pretty good brew. Probably one of my favorites so far from this brewery.

An orange amber with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, loads of C-hops, simcoe, piney and resinous, orange pulp, biscuit malt. In mouth, a nice oily mouthfeel with piney hops, biscuit malt, alcohol warmth, well done.
