ChrisOs Marvellous Pre GBBF Mega Tasting. Dark black - brown beer, tiny pale tan head. Light dry palate. Light touch of dark malt. Trace of coffee bitterness. Mild minerals. An okay stout - a little dry and bitter.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012, London. Pours dark, red-brown with a weak, tan cream head. A bit of taintly tangy cocoa in the nose. Medium sweet flavor with milky chocolate, mild roast, dark bread. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately dry finish with bittersweet cocoa, some earth, dirt. Very decent stuff.

Bottled@chriso pre-gbbf shindig 2012 (not mentioning imperial on the bottle). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is fruity, ashy, roasted malts, some mild toffee and coffee. Flavour is quite much similar in a nice balance.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012. It pours very dark brown, with pretty much no head. The nose is sticky caramel, toffee, chocolate, touch of balsamic vinegar and wood. The taste is roasted malt, wood, leather, charcoal, bitter chocolate and caramel, with a dry, leathery finish. Medium body and low, slightly prickly carbonation. Not much to it, but a decent enough beer.

Bottle thanks to fata2683: Poured a thick oil crude black with bubble brown head, not that there was a lot. Aroma is light but rich roasted malts. Taste is smooth with roasted malt, soft chocolate, very soft and silky finish. Alcohol is in the back but very well hidden.

Bottle. Pours black with a creamy light brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma is full of roasted malts with some light chocolate and a hint of coffee. Flavor begins with roasted malts and coffee (a bit weak) but has a nice creamy chocolate finish.

Thanks to BarZigKin for the bottle, pours thick black with a medium tan head. Aroma is awesome, dark cocoa, rolled oats, coffee, molassis and dark fruits. Flavor is rich roast, thick coffee coats the tongue and a rich dry and semi-sweet molassis rounds out dry. Really lingers with dark fruits and heavy roast. This is top notch and I wish I had more!
