Cristal clear copperish golden beer with a medium, suspiciously stable white head. Corn, cornflakes, toast, very slightly grassy. Light bitterish impression, washed away by sweetcorn and CO², upon which the bitterness turns to metallic. Light body, sticky-slick, undercarbonated. In the heart of dark West Africa... can one expect more? Txs to Stef!

Sample thanks to Grumbo, cheers Graham! Clear golden colour, thin white foam head and aroma of malt, grains, light fruits, papery, cardboard. Taste is sweet malty, grainy, some fruity & cardboardy notes, with some bitterness. Light bodied, light carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Another standard pale lager.

Sample @ obscure lager tasting with Jeremy. Thanks Graham and Marek for this. Clear pale gold appearance, small bubbles atop. Slight herbal off-aroma, taste is gently sweet, soft malt, no off flavours really. Ok

3rd August 2021. The world lager and UK cider tasting with Mat: Cheers Graham (Grumbo) for the samples. Yeah, Togo rating! Golden look, mini herbal twist (or something) in the aroma and taste, thought this was OK.

Country Tick #114, Bottle at home, golden beer, small head. Aroma is malt, some hops, rice and fruity? Taste is the same, bit fizzy, honestly not a bad lager.

Bottle shared at GBBF 2015 - London. Many thanks to the Ollie Jobbins. Pours clear, pale yellow with a foamy, white head. The nose holds cereal grains, citric fruits, straw. Light to medium sweet flavour, more cereal, bread, hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Moderately clean to finish, further dried cereal, light lemon rind, grains. OK.

330ml bottle from Paris Saint Biere in Paris. Pours clear light gold with a medium-sized white head that is gone in seconds. Aroma is malt, sweet grain, there’s some rice there too. Taste is medium sweet, sugar, grain. Light bitter finish. Drinkable and rather decent, for a pale lager from an obscure country (in terms of beer).

Thanks to SinH4! Pours clear yellow. Aroma is diacetyl, oxidation, some skunk, spices, pine needles. Body is medium, only bitter with a soft sweetness, barely any carbonation. Oily and watery at the same time. Thin but drinkable.
