Keg @ Vocation & Co, Hebden Bridge. Black with a small off-white head. It’s aroma is mostly chocolate, but there’s some nut in here too, taste is similar and quite smooth.

Aus der Flasche im 2018-07 getrunken. Diese Stout hat einen deutliche schokoladennote. die ist zwar gut, aber wirkt auch etwas wässrig. Aber dadurch ist es auch recht süffig. Ich hätte es gern etwas kräftiger um langsam genießen zu können. Unter dem Strich bleibt es eine schönes Stout.

Can. Black with a scant coat of beige head. Aroma of good chocolate syrup, gentle roast, some spices. Smooth, low carbonation - after a while it seems a bit thin. Fairly sweet but with a solid spicy bitter kick. Fine but no real thrills.

Can split at 36 Levels Lost, thanks to Scopey, 17/04/18. Black pour with a decent off tan covering. Nose is sweet malts, chocolate biscuit, toffee, candied fruit peel. Taste comprises chocolate mousse, sweet sugars, light spice, mellow roast, chocolate dipped marshmallow. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stout.

Thanks to Paul for the can. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is smooth and fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin but flavoursome dark malts, decent oaty dark chocolate, touch of creamy sweetness. Mild tangy finish. Quite drinkable and pleasant.
