Bourbon Barrel-Aged Madagascar Vanilla + Maple Syrup Imperial Stout
FO: Maple is a luxurious, cold-weather evolution of our flagship stout—finished with a generous addition of maple syrup for deeper sweetness and aromatic depth. Panda courtesy of Theydon_Bois, cheers Colin! Black brown colour, afew bubbles on top and aroma of rich malt, caramel, maple, brown sugar, vanilla, bourbon barrel, roasted, nutty. Taste is sweet, dark malty, caramel, chocolate, marshmallow, vanilla bean, maple syrup, brown sugar, bourbon, boozey, with roasty nutty bitterness. Oily mouthfeel, medium to full bodied, smooth low carbonation, sweet chocolatey malty bourbon bitter finish. Nicely sippable.

Bottle shared at craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. A thick chewy, brown coloured pour with a lasting halo of khaki head. Aroma is medium sweet, sticky brown sugars, alcohol, vanilla, peanut butter golden syrup, marshmallow. Flavour is composed of medium, sweet, vanilla, maple syrup, vanilla, bourbon barrel, Warming alcohol. Nutty brown sugars. Palate is medium sweet, chewy, alcohol bite.

Bottle thanks to Wingman. Near opaque dark brown beer, small and short lived dark tan head. Good dark chocolate, plenty of bourbon barrel ripe fruits and spice, touch of vanilla oak. Maple sweetness. Airy smooth finish. Drinks easy for 14%

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate cake, maple, vanilla, roasted, dates, taste is sweet toffee, vanilla, coconut, chocolate, chewy, sticky maple. Bitter to start but mellowed out. 8/9/98/8

Bottled 500ml. -at Ambasada Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, no head at all, maple, chocolate and alcohol in the nose. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, maple, notes of nougat and noticable alcohol with sweet finish. Warming and bit too sweet. Nice and pleasant but not for 40€ bottle.

Bottle, huge thanks Branko and Vresk. Pitch black body, oily, no head. Enormous maple, chocolate, big minerally, sweetish. Smooth, sweetish carob, vanilla, maple, cocoa taste, with a significant alcohol kick by the finish. Really excellent until the finish, still pretty very, very good.

Van fles bij Borefts '25. Zwarte kleur, bruine kraag. Zoet, heftig, boozy, maple, bruine suiker, bourbon, chocolade, stroperig, erg zoet maar stiekem toch wel erg lekker, met name door de stroperige textuur. Volle body.
