330ml bottle. Pours a deep amber, off-white head. Aroma is pure booze filth. Taste is super rich, syrupy sweet bourbon, sweet fruit, sour edge. Not sure about this one, bit full-on, vinous, dirty bourbon, overly sweet and rich. Not really into this.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham, consumed at Bearded Theory Festival, Saturday 27th May 2017 it was windier and cloudier today after yesterday’s amazing weather. Not sure of the colour as it is in my plastic drinking vessel. But this is fruity, tart, really tart, black grapes and sour cherries mostly coming through. Fortunately I am getting the wine barrel ageing more than the bourbon. Good. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bright clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Nice tangy vinous fruits. Red wine. Mild spice. Barely there lemon acid keeps you on your toes. Not really getting much bourbon barrel here but I think it’s rounding off the sharp edges of the tartness. Light tangy finish. Tasty and drinkable, hides the abv well.

Bottle at home picked up from Hop Locker 1. A clear amber / copper coloured pour with a frothy beige head. Aroma is sour, musty lasto, pedeo, spicy citrus, hint of vinegar, paint, mouldy. Flavour is composed of musty sour red grape, tangy citrus rind, brown bread, sweet and sour, mouldy funk. Palate is medium bodied, sweet and sour, moderate powdery carbonation. MEH, Not really sure what the point of this beeer is.

Bottle at beerlovers. Pours clear amber, small white head (rather unstable). Smell is fruity, bit sour, Taste is very sour, funk, oak, lactic sourness, mild fruits (that build up, and remind of a FOB at times ) red fruits. Doughy malts. Intense MF and perfect carbo. Waaw, this is far better ( and way different ) than expected.

(Draught at Craft Beer Co St Mary Axe, London, 21 April 2017) Reddish amber colour with almost no head. Fruity, sourish nose with dried fruit, oak wood, vinegar and a touch of glue. Fruity, tart taste with notes of red fruit, sour cherries, oak wood, apricots and a tart finish with fairly low bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Really sour and woody, hardly balanced, but very tasty and quite interesting. Very nice.
