Bottle. Funky aroma, vague pear. Golden clear body, white head. Funk, fish, okay in the aroma too. Funk.. Salt, sour, pear. Fine. Nice, if a little less pear-like than I would have preferred.

Bottle, 0.50l. Pours hazy golden color with thin quickly diminishing white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of yeast, white wine, pear, brett and wood. Taste starts light sweet and sour fruity, following is grainy, light funky and a bit woody, mouthfeel is crisp and dry, while finish is mild bitter. Light body, thin texture and lively carbonation in palate. Great refreshment...

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Matteo. Hazy yellow gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and mildly dry, decent carbonation. Airy malts, mildly sweet. Mildly tart lemon. Semi sweet floralness. Modest pear. Light finish. A pear beer that is not a train wreck, but is still not putting the pear front and centre.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Matteo. Pours hazy orange-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose has some lemony notes, pear, pale wood, musty hay. Light sweet flavour with soft acidity, apple skins, tangy pear. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Quite dry in the finish, musty, with more pear, citrus peel, apple skins. Not bad on the whole.

Bottle thanks to MattyO. It pours cloudy golden with a thick white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, juicy pear, apple, melon, tinned fruit and bread. The taste is crisp, tart, juicy, soft, sour pear, gold mouth - pucker, sherbet, earth, white grape and a touch of acidity with a dry, fruity finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Soft and juicy, not much depth, but pretty tasty.
