Cider in a box at Colchester Winter Ale Festival 2023. Clearish golden yellow color, still. Aroma of apple skins light rum light tannins. Taste has fruity apple skins, vanilla, light rum, more tannins, bone dry finish. Very tasty.

(Cask at Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak, London, 25 May 2022) Pale amber colour with brief, bubbly head. Fruity, slightly spicy nose with notesof apples and oak wood. Fruity, tart taste with apples, oak wood, a touch of rum, toffee and a slight tannin harshness from the apple peel. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty, with a balanced rum wood character. Nice one.

Many thanks for this organic Perry to Jacek wigier (wieneofdreams@gmail.com) przezroczysta butla, i lekko metnawe ciemno zlotej barwy cydr, organiczny ze swiezych gruszek, pachnace bardziej zielona trawa niz owocami, no ale coz jakie jest w smaku wytrawne, to na pewno, srednio owocowe, lekko wodniste, lekko kwaskowe, dobre choc nie tak dobre jak liczylem, a zwlaszcza po produkcie czysto ekologicznym

2/10/2020. From BIAB at the Spread Eagle, Ipswich. 6.1% abv. Pours hazy/cloudy orange amber with a bubbly white head. Aroma of stewed pear, light spice, touch woody. Medium sweetness and moderate tartness. Moderate body, average to soft carbonation. Very nice tart fruity finish. Liked this.

Bottle from Beautiful Beers. This one is 6.9%. Appearance - hazy orange. No head and completely still. Nose - dry sour apples, possibly bruised or even brown. Taste - again, bruised apples and just a hint of wild yeast farmyard going on. Palate - tangy and medium bodied. Long, dry sour tangy finish. Overall - good stuff.

75cl bottle from Beautiful Beers. Appearance - amber with a very light haze. Nose - tangy apples. Some apple skin. Raisins from the rum. Taste - more of the skin. Tangy but sweet apples. Raisins and rum again. Palate - medium bodied, dry tangy middle and finish. Overall - good.

75cl bottle from Beautiful Beers. Appearance - golden amber, still. Nose - pears, but more apples really. Taste - sweet tangy apples. Where's da pears? Palate - medium bodies, tangy texture. Dry, tangy finish. Overall - good, not so much pear evident, mind.
