250ml, tap at Amundsen Bryggeri & Spiseri. Beige head to a jet black body. Dotted spots down the glass. Roasted dark malty nose. Quite exciting blended taste of grapefruit and black malts. Roasted bitter ending. Fine bodied. Pretty good (Oslo 03.09.2013).

On tap at Grünerløkka mat- og mikrobryggfestival. Very dark brown, pretty close to black, with a nice tan head. Hoppy aroma with tropical fruits, pine, dark malts and hints of citrus and caramel. Moderate sweet with hoppy flavours dominating and some malty in the background. Hoppy, refreshing and quite deliciuos.

Very dark opaque reddish brown/black with a beige head. Fairly hoppy aroma for a dark beer. Bitter pine, then coffee and it ends with more slightly sour bitterness. None of their beers seem to be to style, the pale ale is too pale, the lager unbalanced & the black lager fairly bitter. I am not impressed, nice looking place though...

Looks identical to the pale ale! Hay & grass aroma. Bleh, sour hop bitterness, grains. Not so good. It is unbalanced though it has the lager look.

Very pale gold color, mostly citrus aroma. Rough bitter taste, bitter finish pine and maybe a hint of lemon. Passable.

Draught from tap at the brewpub where 250ml was served comfortable chilled. Orange coloured body with a slight haze. Fragile lacing, disappearing layer. Mild and fresh citrus to the nose. Fresh citrus taste with mild grapefruit to the fore joined by pale malts and followed by a subdued dry, bitter ending lingering down the throat. Crisp and soft in the mouth. Easy to drink. Fine start to a few hours pub crawl in Oslo, 06.08.2013.
