Small white head. Hazy yellow body. Tropical fruit and kiwi aroma with mealy alcoholic notes. Dry-sweet resiny tropical fruit taste with mealy strawy notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dry resiny mango aftertaste with salty earthy notes. Nice, but a bit dense, salty, and sharp. (0.4l draft at brewpub.)

On tap @ the brewpub. Clear golden body with a small but super-lacing white head. Aroma is fruity and refreshing with grassy hops. Flavor is refreshing fruity, soft malty and a decent grassy bitterness, hint of flowers. Medium body and more evident bitterness in aftertaste. I don’t have Pils as my favorite style, but this is more than decent. Very refreshing, no off flavors at all, could easily have a few of this one.

Medium white head. Slightly hazy pale yellow body. Mealy resiny citric aroma with floral peachy notes. Dry-sweetish resiny floral citric taste with mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish mouthfeel. Dry resiny fruit candy aftertaste with mealy papery notes. Nice, refreshing, but not as clear and vivid as it could. Still, definitely a very drinkable beer. (0.5l draft at brewpub.)

On tap at Amundsen. It pours a dark brown body and a finger thick beige head. Roasted and hoppy aroma, citrus peel and resin, with a perfumed touch. A bit heavy on carbonation, full-bodied and quite dry. Nice bitterness towards the end, with roasted malts and some coffee-ish butterscotch notes and pears. Lasting bitter finish. A nice beer, but a bit unclean and yeasty. 111014

On tap at Amundsen. A dense , finger thick beige head sits on top of a clear copper colored body. The aroma hasa solid dose of coriander, with some caramel maltyness. Smooth, but a bit thin on the palate, some warmth. Coriander, lime, maltyness and some caramel in the flavor. Decent bitterness in the finish. Well, quite decent, but a bit bland compared to the original. 111014

On tap at the Schous Brewpub, Oslo. This was No1 and not No2 I’m sure!? Clear dark red beer with a good pale tan head. Smooth palate. Smooth darkish malt, creamy with sweet licorice. Well buried sweet berry fruits. Mild banana esters. Very mild coffee. Semi dry finish with a little bubblegum coming through. Quite complex and quite tasty!
