Our beautiful micro-brewery has been the beating heart of the King Street Brew House since it opened in 2015. This integral feature of our venue is run by Simon, our Head Brewer, who brews an delicious range of cask beers as well as amazing some craft beers and lagers on tap.

Dan's Stag. Brewhouse. Bristol. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Palate is light and fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dry dark malts, touches of dark chocolate and coffee. Touch of esters before a dry ripe fruity finish. Okay.

Keg at the brewpub. Pours deep brown with a creamy tan head. The nose holds dark malts, brown bread, berries. Light-medium sweet flavour with more tangy dark berries, a little butntnroffee. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, subtly warming, more dark malts and ripe, dark berries. Not bad.

Keg at The Source. It pours hazy golden with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, bready, brioche, biscuit, bit grainy and grassy. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, bready, biscuit, toasty grain, bit floral and citrus peel with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty run of the mill.

Dan's Stag. Brewhouse. Bristol. Cask. Light haze on this amber beer, a few pale cream colour bubbles. Palate is light and dry and has modest fine carbonation. Caramelly malts, sweetish. Ripe citrus and a little marmalade. Dry finish. Okay.

Keg at The Source. It pours black with a small tan head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, oily, treacle, liquorice and toasty The taste is drying, bitter, charred wood, roasted malt, tar, oily, treacle, slick, chewy action and taffee with a drying finish. Medium body and low carbonation. A bit chewy and earthy. OK.

Cask at the brewpub. Pours clear ruby-red with a slim head. Toasted grains in the nose, dried berries. Light sweet flavour, some brown bread, dried leathery berries, a little earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Balanced finish, more leathery berries, leaves, lightly toasted brown bread. Good stuff.

Cask at the brewpub. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. The nose has tangerine, melon and crispy pale bread. Light sweetndlavour eith morebpale bread, some grain husk, tangerine, orange peel. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Nicely balanced finish with more tangerine, pale bread, some rindy bitterness. Nice one.

Cask at The Source. It does clear deep reddish brown with a small beige head. The aroma is earthy, oily, twiggy, sticky, oily, dried fruits and wood. The taste is dry, bitter, oily, resinous, sticky, chewy, dried fruits, brown bread, cocoa, berry and cake with a drying finish. Medium body, low carbonation and oily mouth - feel. A bit chewy and toothy.
