Day 16: Herrnbrau Tradition Festbier 5% Gold color, soft white foam with a sweet bready aroma. Medium bodied bready and crisp. The taste is earthy sweet malts with the tiniest hint of hops. It verges on macro so it’s decent enough but quite forgettable.

500ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Oslo City. Bright warm golden body, slowly diminishing white head, spotty lacing. Oily hops and mid-sweet grainy malts on the nose, promising. Flavoured with mild caramel malts, bread, and noble hops. Mid-sweet malty ending, clean on the swallow. Quite alright (Celebrating The Witches of Finnmark, hotel room, Larvik 25.11.2022).

6-4-7-4-14 Bottle, nine months before bbd. Pours slightly hazy dark yellow, with a big creamy off white head. Aroma is sweet yeasty minerals and pilsner malts with bread, hay and heather, as well as herbal hops with grassy minerals. Medium body, with soft carbonation. 500 ml bottle. Cloudy yellow with a fluffy head. Clove, honey, lemon zest, banana, grapefruit zest. Dry zesty bitterness, some sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry zesty finish. Nice!

Pour is a cloudy blonde with a large white head. Aroma is Euro malt and hops with maybe a little wet paper bag. Flavor is grainy malt with more of the wet paper. Finish is gone in a second. Drinkable but nothing special.

A murky and light yellow beer, a head is big and blond. Aroma has wheat, light spicyness and hint of banana. Tast ehas wheat, spicyness, light fruitness of banana and sourness. Medium bodied. Good hefe. Fresh.
