Bottled. Ruby red color, small white head. Brown sugar aroma, sweetish. Grassy hoppy, underlying sweetness. Very American despite of using East Kent Golding.

2004 bottle - Pours amber with a moderate head. It smells of citrus hops and some malt. The flavor includes caramel malts, citrusy hops, and some interesting spice. This bottle was a couple years old and the hops had probably mellowed somewhat, but the balance was exceptional. I think itβs aging pretty well.

250ml draught at The Rake, Borough Market (16.09.2006). Goden body with missing head. Fresh and fruity aroma. Flavour is fruity with notes of hops, yeast and some supporting malts. Crispated. A good thirst quencher on a warn day in London. Very relaxing outdoor seating at the Rake (great place and friendly staff).

Cask@GBBF, 2006. Golden beer with a fizzy head. The aroma is strong, toxic and vinous, and the flavour is rich, slightly yeasty, tangy and sour. Overall a reasonable light coloured rich beer.

I was convinced that Iβd rated this before. Anyway have had this over in the states in bottles frequently, but more often than not of late this is becoming much easier too pick up in Sainsburys. and other larger supermarkets here in the UK. Pours a golden amber colour with a lively head if youβre anything like me at pouring. Really good fresh citrusy, hoppy notes, good hoppy taste and very refreshing, great example of its type.
